My Darkness

I created this surreal art piece out of a self-experience of losing an unborn baby. In 2020 I had a miscarriage, and this sorrowful moment touched me a lot and made me deeply think about parents who are actually losing their existing children and babies every day in almost every part of our planet. I had many reflections about this subject and it eventually led me to my dream about this piece of art which I named "My Darkness" and dedicated to all parents who had a tragical experience of losing their children.

The reddish colors of surreal butterflies around the glass ball show us the spiritual meaning of the painting. And the white butterfly inside the glass ball brings us back to reality to demonstrate a moment when fragile life gives itself up to the spiritual world.
